Saint Mary's Catholic College aims to provide industry-standard training in the fields of engineering and furnishing. Students are given the opportunity to participate in Certificate I Construction and Certificate II Engineering Pathways courses as part of their regular school timetable, allowing them to undertake trade-based vocational training and receive their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). Students are also given the opportunity in obtaining school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.
Students complete their chosen certificate course by attending regular timetabled lessons. Saint Mary's Catholic College links with many industry partners to explore opportunities for school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, work experience and to gain feedback on training that is provided at the facility.
Our Trade Training Centre is open every second Wednesday evening (even term weeks) for members of the community to participate in Man Cave. For further information regarding Man Cave please visit here.
